Art Fun with Epoch Arts
Join us at Epoch Arts, 27 Skinner Street, on Thursday, April 13th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm for an afternoon of fun and art!! We will paint a masterpiece for you to take home, play some theater games and work together on a collaborative art piece. Come relax and have fun in a creative, laid back space. No art experience needed but welcome! $10 materials fee. 
 
Basic First Aid – Hosted by East Hampton Ambulance Association Instructors
East Hampton Ambulance instructors will be teaching a basic first aid class at the Ambulance Assoc. building from 9:30AM-12:00PM on Wednesday April 12.
 
Cooking 101 – Hosted by Hannah Monahan
Come learn essential cooking skills while having fun. We will go over basic food safety, instrumentation, nutrition, and tricks of the trade. The best thing is, at the end of each day we will have a tasty treat to share. Depending on participation, you will learn how to cook an entire meal, from appetizer to dessert! Prepare to learn, laugh, and taste! (please disclose food allergies at registration)
 
MAGNETIC PUTTY: Hosted by KOCO
Students will experiment with a variety of ingredients to create magnetic polymers. The resulting "putties" will be manipulated with a variety of magnets and metals to discover their properties.
 
PROGRAMMING WITH SCRATCH:  Hosted by KOCO
Students will use M.I.T.'s Scratch (a simple programming language for kids age 8 to 16) to create stories, games and animations that feature their own invented characters. Students encouraged to bring their own (charged!) laptops with the Scratch program preloaded (scratch.mit.edu).
 
STOP ACTION ANIMATION: Hosted by KOCO
Students will work in teams to use Stikbots and Stop Motion Studio animation app to create short films. Students will learn to storyboard, use the animation app, work with a green screen. Students encouraged to bring their own (charged!) cell phones preloaded with Stop Motion Studio app.
 
BLACKLIGHT CHEMISTRY LAB:  Hosted by KOCO
Students will experiment with a variety of ingredients to create substances reactive under blacklight. Students will use their concoctions to create blacklight-active works of art.
