SCARECROW CONTEST:
- Join our scarecrow contest to represent your business or organization or for just plain fun! Scarecrows will be displayed at Sears Park.
- Drop off dates are Friday, October 10th through Saturday, October 11th during daylight hours.
- Markers will be placed, please set up at the marker of your choice.
- Parks and Recreation reserves the right to remove any scarecrow not holding up to the elements. Please ensure your scarecrow is sturdy enough to last through the entire event. Parks and recreation reserves the right to deny entries considered offensive or those making controversial, social, religious or political statements.
- Pick up is Saturday November 1st. Any unclaimed scarecrows may be trashed.
- Judging will run from Sunday, October 12th through Friday, October 31st and will be based on "likes" on the Parks and Recreation Facebook page. A 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will be awarded and announced on our Facebook page, Monday November 3rd.
VENDORS:
- Open to local cottage food operators, caterers, and food trucks. Crafters are also welcome to participate.
- No alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted on the premises.
- All food vendors must submit proof of a valid food license by emailing a copy to amaynard@easthamptonct.gov
- Vendors will be located under the picnic shelter. Once that area is filled, we will assign locations on the green. All vendors on the green will need to bring their own tent and table.
