 Hiking Locally Are you looking for inspiration to start hiking? Or, for some new places to hike in the East Hampton area? Alan Hurst, treasurer of the Meshomasic Hiking Club, and  Linda Schroth, a member of the club and an avid hiker, will talk about the dozens of hikes they have taken in East Hampton and nearby towns. They will provide recommendations on how to get started, what to bring along, and safety advice. They will also provide details on the trail: how steep, how rocky, how buggy, and what the views are like. Along the way, they will cover using maps and how to use various hiking apps.0
