This immersive, hands-on cooking camp gives elementary-aged children the chance to experience food from seed to plate. Campers will spend the week cooking, tasting, and exploring where food comes from through engaging kitchen activities and time spent working in the new garden at East Hampton High School. Children will harvest herbs and produce, learn how gardens grow, and use fresh ingredients to prepare simple, kid-friendly recipes each day.
Throughout the week, campers will build confidence in the kitchen while learning basic cooking skills, food safety, teamwork, and age-appropriate nutrition concepts. The camp blends cooking, gardening, light food-based crafts, and outdoor exploration to create a joyful, curiosity-driven experience for young chefs and budding gardeners alike.
